Before and After

Bright Lights

Whenever I make music videos for YouTube, I’m always shocked by how much makeup I have to wear in order to look normal (or a bit done up) and not washed out.

I took some pictures while getting ready to film The Bard’s Song cover.

Before and After

By the end, I feel like I’m ready to go clubbing. Haha! But once I turn on the studio lights… I look…

Normal Under Lights

Quite normal. It amuses me so much. I have to constantly remind myself to not shy away from strong makeup for filming.

Just wanted to share 😛

Hugs,
Malu

Oh, wow! I guess the video kind of flattens your features so that the details just don’t show up. It makes sense that you’d have to over-emphasise them! I love these kinds of behind-the-scenes details that I would have never even thought about. 😀

You look beautiful without makeup…honestly don’t think you need it at all now.

Such an interesting post. I feel way too done up too with makeup but in this case, it really does work for filming.

Done looks nice for going out with a slinky red dress on for sure. But, clean face is beautiful (and best) for the other 95% of the time. Your physical presentation regardless, I think, well reflects the beauty of your voice.
